I wired my radar detector into the passenger side light switch. It removed the light, but now for the off/on, just turn on the light. You can tap the power off of the contacts on the back side of the lighbulb. Pretty neat trick. And I also mounted my radar detector with double sided tape on the top of the rear view mirror.. hope this helps.. Matt
