Wheel Bearing Tool for A3s with ABS

Heya all,
Now that I am on my 3rd set of front wheel bearing for my
Jetta GLX, I am pondering doing something to make it
an easier job.

I have the Schley tool, and this works great for putting everything
back together, but the traditional method of pushing the hub
off with bolts throught the wheel lug holes will not work.
If you try this you will damage the ABS Sensor Rotor.

Would anyone have interest if I designed an attachment
for the Schely tool (or equivalent) that would allow you
to pull the hub off on the car without damaging the
ABS Rotor?

I was thinking of an attachment that would engulf the hub face
and rotor and support against the hub carrier. If is long
enough, you should be able to pull the hub into the
tool cavity with the standard Schley attachment bits.

This would allow doing the wheel bearings without
messing with the alignment, liek God intended the Schley to
do in the first place.

Anyone interested, contact me by e-mail. I will either
sell the plans for the attachment (cheap) or could maybe
be talked into fabricating some for sale in my shop.

Talk at ya later
