i never had this prob in my jetta, but my friend nissan altima had that prob. it was from a bad weather seal on the trunk lid. she just leaves a bunch of towels in the spare tire well when it rains. i guess thats easier than changing the seal, at least for her it is. bobby jettaflite@aol.com
