Did you buy the car in Denver? If not, I believe you can make an adjustment
to the air intake to allow for additional O2 in the mix. But being from the
flat country I am not exactly sure.

When I was out visiting my mom in Indiana I was killing everybody. Out here
in Colorado I get beat sometimes. I've been beat by a couple GSX Eclipses
but out there they were slow. Does a turbo really help that much in high
altitude? I'm at a little over 5000', you know "Mile High City" and all.

Those T-5s are only good for a high 14 to low 15 in the 1/4. Seems like a
remember reading a 15.3. Faster than alot of Jettas, but not a GTI:)

Had a little run with one on the freeway a while back. Never really opened
up,
so can't say it was a race. Took the same exit as the kid, yes, kid... He
couldn't have been a day over 17. Said his Mom didn't like it, so as long
as
he kept his grades up, it was his.

I got to drive an 82' Oldsmobile station wagon with a 350 small block when I
was 17. Got to start it with a screw driver by shorting out the solenoid on
the starter in the HS parking lot... I was popular.

Wish I had my GTI in High School.
