Re: Synthetic?



I echo Tim's comments about the leak potential. I switched to synthetic at
about 24K miles and had no problems.

Synthetics are pretty much superior to dino oil in all ways, except price.
You can maybe beat that if you go for longer change intervals with the
synthetic. Is it worth it? If all you do is daily driving...probably not. If
you go hard and/or race, then I'd say yes. Extra protection is always a good
thing, and it's not that much more $$$.
