RE: shocks 'n' struts

Boge sucks. They're right up there with Tokico and Spax :)

The cheapest way to go (safely) is to get a set of Bilsteins and cut your
stock springs half a coil to a full coil. Bilsteins are available pretty
much everywhere. Try shox.com if you're gonna do mail order.

Installation is straightforward--4 hours max. If you have access to a lift
and the proper tools installation will obviously be much quicker. Key tools
you should need are an impact gun and a spring compressor. You can rent or
borrow a spring compressor from your local Autozone (if you get coilovers
you wouldn't have this problem heehee!). If you don't have an impact gun
good luck trying to get the top strut nut off the fronts, just take it to a
gas station and have them loosen it a bit.

Oh, and you'll need an alignment afterwards (read more $$$).
