Phil,

What ratio of manual 5 speed VR6 New Jettas do you see vs. the
automatics? (autos are all I see here in California).

I'm hearing rumors thru the automotive circle that the GLS VR6 will be
discontinued as soon as the 1.8T becomes available for the New Jetta
GLS.  Any truth in this?
