RE: 97 Jetta GLX Coil Pack & Tires



Did you buy the car new or used? If you bought new, then the coil pack
should be covered under warranty. I would also check your plug wires
yourself, get a spare and swap out individual plugs when it is "rough" and
see if changing any particular wire makes it run better.

As far as replacements, if you are looking for the best bang for the buck,
buy Bridgestone RE-71, they are like $80 each and have hnadling as godd as
some $130 tires...
