I don't think any type of heavyduty upper strut mount exists for our
cars.  There may be an aluminum one, but it would be very costly, and
hell on a daily driver.  Just go with the OEM mounts.  Try different
dealerships for the best price.  Even ND or other VW aftermarket shops
should have them.
