18-Inch Wheel And Tire Review

Volks folks,

Beetle Buzz has a review of 18-inch MAK Energy wheels shod with 
Nitto 555 Extreme tires up now:

This may be of interest to those who have done the upgrade, want 
to do the upgrade, or just want some more info on what's involved 
(i.e., the benefits and compromise of beefing up the rubber and 
alloy on Volkswagen's A4 cars). The reviewer, John Strakele, 
performs the upgrade on his New Beetle 1.8T GLX, but you can 
basically take away the info for any of the A4 cars. Plus, Strakele's 
photos are simply spectacular!

Unfortunately, the 18-inchers didn't work out so hot for Strakele.
