My passenger door lock core broke a few days ago. I guess this is a common occurrence with VW's. I bought a new core, switched out the springs and pins from the old core and would like to install it. What is the easiest way to install this new core? Does the door panel and trimmings have to be removed? All is appreciated as this is a major inconvenience. Thanks all. Joe 96 GLX
