RE: Motor Mounts Cont.



Yep, confirmed it with the Novice chair this weekend. Any change to the
motor mounts/torque twist limiting devices would bump you out of SCCA stock.
Stock allows changes to tires (stock size wheels), brake pads,
shocks/struts, exhaust (after the cat. conv.), air filter (stock airbox).
Pretty much anything else would bump you to a higher class.

Someone could probably get away with it at the regional level, but not at
the national level. Not something I'd do though. Also, non-SCCA autocrosses
may have looser restrictions.

Had a great time this weekend, no pictures this time, but my times were much
better, and my runs were a lot cleaner (still can go faster though).

Tim- Thanks for the info. I'll check it out. I didn't
think a motor mount alone would drop you out of the
Stock Class in SCCA?? Hmmm.
