RE: Finally got the GLX....

There are 3 trip odometers on the A3 GLX's, the odometer with trip odometer,
and two on the trip computer (controlled by the wiper stalk).

To reset the trip odometer on the odometer (the one that I use for each tank
of gas, purely out of habit), you press the reset button by the odometer to
change it to trip, then hold it in until it resets.

The trip computer has both trip (1) and overall (2) settings. Trip will
automatically reset after 2 hours with the engine off, overall will not
reset automatically. To reset either, hold the slide switch past the "click"
in the direction of the computer you wish to reset. I.e. if you want to
reset (1), slide the switch to the left of the (1), and hold it until it
resets (choose odometer, trip time, etc. to watch it reset).

Subject: Finally got the GLX....

Well I picked the car up last night from the dealer.
After waiting 2.5 hrs to do the paperwork and wait for
the stupid business manager to sign off on the deal
they let me go with the car.

Ended up driving around for about 2hrs last night. :)

Quick question how do you reset the miles on tank of
fuel on the trip computer? Dumb question, but I
haven't had a chance to figure it out completely yet.

I'm getting a owners manual from them on Sat. They had
them backordered.

Can't believe how nice this car is.

David
