I saw this on the H20 list, and I am sure there are a few people out there that can help this kid out with where do direct his problem.

From: Kickergti@aol.com have a problem with my warranty.I have a 98 Gti and my motor blew up.I have a Neuspeed intake and p-chip.I took it in and didn't even think to take the chip out.The dealer saw the chip and had a heart attack.The service manager had the vw rep come and look at it.He said it was a "modification"and wasn't authorized by vw.I need some help here.The vw rep said he was the last stop except the president of vw.I don't think he is easy to get ahold of.I have an $18'000 car with no warranty and i have to by a motor.I love my vw but with the treatment i got it will probably be my last.I don't want it to be that way but thay leave me with no other choice.Everyone in h2o has been very helpfull but if anyone can help me get my warranty back i will be in there debt forever.
