The fairing (Thule Spoiler 555) is the assembly part I think you're talking about. That alone goes for about $85 bucks. It looks great but if noise is what you're looking to cut down on, (without installing properly), I don't think that is the trick. You almost need to modify the install, by wrapping the corners around to the shape of the roof. This was the only way I found it to be a little quiet. Otherwise the corners flap in the wind at high speeds. Another note is your top speed will be reduced. And one last thing, it will also degragate from your gas mileage, noticeably.

I know what I said completely contradicts what Thule says about the Fairing, but its personal experience.

FWIW.....I personally would/did install it, because of the "sex-appeal" it boasts, but again, thats me.
