Re: Air Filter pre-screen



The aair filter box is located in the top of the engine compartment, front
passenger's side.  Largish black box.  You unsnap the rubber band clips on the
sides, and the top will come off.  You'll see the air filter as soon as you remove
the top (you may have to loosen/remove hoses from the top of the box to accomplish
this).

removing the air filter will expose the pre-screen at the front of the bottom part
of the air box.  It's fairly visible.  Remove the two screws on either side of the
screen, and it will come right out.  If you want to leave it in, just clean it.  I
removed mine entirely, on the theory that i'd rather replace the air filter than
keep having to clean that screen.
