RE: My new mods and gas mileage

Title: RE: My new mods and gas mileage

Angie,

Be careful with those chrome VW emblem valve stem covers ... I think they come with some anti-sieze lubricant ... USE IT!  I got them for my 92 GTI 16v and after the first snow and road salting, those suckers siezed right up ... couldn't get them off for the life of me.  Went 20K miles without checking my air pressure (I'm super anal about wheels and didn't want some idiot taking the tires off the rim just to replace the valve stem)

Have you ever loved your car so much you have to look at it as you walk away
from it? LOL.  I just got my windows tinted 35% smoke and a red rear
windshield sticker that says "The Jettaway Car" arched over a red VW emblem.
I got red "lug nut" license plate screws that look awesome.  I got my head
light black outs today and chrome VW emblem valve stem covers (with matching
key chain - woo woo.)  I cleaned up the BBS stock rims and they don't look too
bad.  I got the center caps vinyled over and a VW emblem put on them. Those
look real nice, but they are only until I save up enough to get my 17" chrome
rims.  I replaced the faded trunk VW emblem with a new one after I painted the
new one with a couple coats of clear coat touch up paint.  Hopefully, that
will keep it from fading this time.  Next are those chrome dual exhaust things
for the part that sticks out from under the bumper and the chrome rims.

I've named him "Fernando" cuz I'm a girl.  If he was a man I'd marry him, f**k
him, and have lots of little ones of him.....tee hee hee hee hee.......
