VW / I-5 Fun Run (the Garrett difference)

Hey gang....

Well tonite I had the pleasure to "race" with 3 other VW's....

A2 Jetta (grey) with many mods it seemed

A3 Jetta GL ( black) (mods????)

A3 GTI VR6 (red) female driver

(ME '97 Jetta GT with Garrett chip)

well I am cruising down the OLE I-5 when all of a sudden I see 2 VW come smoking up behind me and start to pass......I say what the hell.....I drop it into 3rd and take after them.....then the GTI shows!!

We are cruising the GTI bails after 2-3 minutes....I fly past the GL (not a problem)  then it is just the A2 and me.....we go back and forth (me leading /him leading)  we move through some traffic and I take the lead and we are FLYING at this point......the A2 can't catch me......he is in on my right side but can't catch me and falls back some.....I have to say the Garrett chip MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!!!! 

Next I drop in a K&N, that should only help more!
