Toyo VS Michelin

Has anyone tried BOTH Toyo Proxes T1  Plus and Michelin Pilot MXX3 tires??
It is time for some new rubber considering my toyos look like slicks..8)  I
have heard good things from those I know have Michelins, but they never
tried Toyos.  I need a good comparison between the two.  it is a nice
difference in prices.  they do not make a 215x40x17 in the Michelin.  If I
was to choose that route, I would have to get 215x45x17..8(  Also, the Toyos
cost $206 (mounted, lifetime balancing, flat protection, and lifetime
rotation), VS. the Michelins cost of $269 (mail order, just the tire).
SSSSOO.. the Michelins would run a total of almost $1200 VS. $830 for the
Toyo's.  The Michelin guys claim that these tires are the closest thing to
race tires you can get for the street, and they have surpassed the Proxes.
Heck, these guys even to hot lap events on the Michelin instead of their
race tires.
If someone knows about these tires. PLEASE let me know.
