How Much Oil???

I just got a '95 and asolutely love the car. I'm planning on doing some
regular maintenance this weekend (www.autohaus.com had the best prices I
could find), and haven't been able to determine how much oil to put
in!!! The owners manual says 4.? quarts...it seems like that is for the
4 cyl. engine (they don't specify which engine the capacity is for).
I've been forging through the mail archives and have seen people say the
VR6 needs anywhere from 5.3 quarts to 7.5L! What is it? Can anybody
help?
