It is nothing to worry about.  Mine has done it for a while, and others
have complained of the problem.  VW might try a bunch of stuff to fix it,
but they may not.  Mine stopped doing it, for the most part, all on it's
own.

BTW, as some will tell you, it is not the clutch return spring.
