I have a 98 GLX and the power sunroof should automatically close when you
use your key to close all the windows also. You should really tell the
dealer about that.

Is this true?  Is sunroof is suppose to close with the
key?  When I called the service dept. a week after I
got my '98 Jetta GLX, he said that wasn't part of that
feature.  So I just took him for his word and didn't
think about it again.
If this is true than I'M PISSED OFF.  You don't know
how many times I've gotten out of the car, used the key
to shut the windows, only to realize that the sunroof
is still open.  So I have to get back into the car put
the key in the ignition shut the roof and I always
think "why the hell didn't VW include the sunroof in
the key closes all the windows thingy"
Some one PLEASE verify this for me before I go nuts on
this guy in the service dept., who I've had a bad
experience with every time I had to deal with him.
