All of the gears have a lack of smoothness, but 3rd seems to be
the least smooth.  The lack of smoothness may have been exaggerated,
before.  I am able to shift into every gear but at the point just before
it clicks into gear, it needs a little extra force, I by no means have to 
slam it or force it with strength.  It just not like it used to be.  I still
have 
4k miles left under the 2/24.
