Put all the mods you want turbo,super charger etc. But remember do it after
you go over the limits of the powertrain warranty. If you should do any
internal engine mods or add-ons turbo,super charger and should develop
engine or transmission problems while still under the powertrain warranty
VW will not cover any repairs.  VW is in the process of changing the
wording of the warranty. They know all about the performance mods and will
start taking a strong stand in denying warranty coverage because of them.
I was speaking to my VW OTS and he told me that VW is in the process of
adding a new field in their computer to allow all VW dealers to make a
notation of modified cars. The reason behind this is to alert all dealers
in case the customer is a jumper. Jumps from one VW dealer to another
seeking coverage.
