I have a question.

What is your viewpoint on having the A\C on while:
1) high RPM accelerating, not racing;
2) high speed driving, above 80 MPH?

I have an 86 GL that I spent $900 replacing the A\C in. The car was 10
years old and I was driving about 80 MPH when then compressor stopped
turning. Since then I try not to drive above 70 MPH when the A\C is on.
As for the A3, I don't notice the cycling of the compressor at all, as
compared to the A2 and the 4 cyl A3.
