Actually, that may be comparable. I have cloth seats, side air bags, no
cold weather package, and bought a Panasonic CD changer and installed it
myself. The MSRP was $21,850. I negotiated $1814 in discounts, had
$1122 in tax and cashed in $2100 in VW points off a credit card. So I
paid net about $19,000.
