Your question is unclear.  I will answer what I assume is what you are
asking.  A cross over isnt always needed.  A simple capacator of the right
value will roll off the lows to the tweeter at the rate of ~6dB per octave.

A simple high pass capacator is what VW appears to have done with the dash
mounted tweeter.

The door mounted 6.5S is used full range and the natural roll off of the
highs is sufficient, (alnog with its low location and the directional
nature of the upper four octaves.

Many "Audio Purists" and "Audiophiles" prefer this method since the more
garbage in the signal path,  the more out of phase information (signals)
the the speakers get and the more mucked up the sound... not to mention
weird inductive/resistive loads at various frequencies driving an amp nuts.
