Off topic: Stock Stereo question

     I have a 1995 Jetta with the stock premium sound system.  Panasonic 
     head unit and "not Bose" hecho in Mexico speakers.  I have added a 
     powered sub (bazooka) and want to put a high pass filter (capacitors) 
     on the stock speakers.  However, I need to know the total Ohms for 
     each channel.  The door woofers are 4ohms, and the dash tweeters are 
     4ohms.  So here is my question, are they wired in series (total load 
     8ohms) or in parallel (2ohm load, seems unlikely for a stock system)?  
     I need to know so I can pick my capacitors.  I have some 110uF caps in 
     now and I thing they are cutting too high, I've got a big hole in my 
     mids.
