Just pulling the 173 relay will disable the DRLs, but I think the parking
lights stay on. The Euro switch will let you run parking lights only, fogs
only, and many other combinations. I got mine from Timmons--you will also
want to ask for a bridge for one of the relays. Installation of the switch
itself took less than five minutes, but getting down to the fuse panel and
pulling the relays was a different story..

Oh, and if you have a Jetta the Euro switch allows you to hook up a rear
fog.
