Swiss VR6 SuperCharged

I was talking to Andreas about his VR6 GTI with the supercharger.

I asked if he had a Quaiffe installed to handle the 260hp and 
he replied:

"In our swiss VR6's we have EDS
(electronic differential system) as standard equipment, which gives
excellent traction out of tight corners. Do you also have this option 
in Canada?"

To be honest, this is the first I've heard of this "option".  Anyone
know if there is a difference between European/US spec differencials?

His car must go like a bat outta hell!
