FYI,
	Todd on the GTI List (Air & Water Tunig) has a short shift kit for $175 
with exchange.  it's the same as the N-speed kit (complete box).  Also i 
think the Collier Brothers were working on a short shift kit themselves.

ps. regardless of which kit you get you'll have to drop the exhaust to 
remove the box.  so if an exhaust upgrade is in your future as well as a 
short shift, do them both at the same time.

pss.  i cut 2.25" off my stock lever and liked the fell of the shifting 
over stock.
