Victor,

Belt dressing, as I call it, is simply a tacky/sticky liquid that you
apply to the surface of the belt. It makes the belt grip better to the
pulley, or visa versa. You should be able to pick it up at any of the
local auto part stores.

BUT, if your belts are new, you should not need this product. Check the
belt tension on all the belts. Find a section of the belt that spans
about 12" between pulleys and press on the middle of the span with your
thumb. Use medium pressure, about what it would take to lift the dead
weight of your arm with just your thumb. The belt should not flex more
than about half an inch or less in either direction. Keep in mind that
the shorter the span between pulleys the less the belt should flex and
the larger the span the more it should flex.

Oh, if this noise is coming from the belts, the noise will almost
certainly get much louder when accelerating.

If any of you guys think I'm nuts, please correct me.

Thank,

Joe

PS: That MS Mailer of your is just havin a field day with that HTML.
Leave to MS to go overboard. :)
