The '98 GTI VR6 at the LA auto show had leather trim in the door panels - just like the 
GLX (and Cabrio Highline) have always had.  I too am stuck with the hard plastic door 
panels, and I **HATE** them.  Many months ago I priced the panels from the Cabrio 
thru Mike Potter.. cost?  $900 EACH!  Yes, that much!!  

Wish I had a '98.  Or '98 doors!
