"Nothin's Better" glass cleaner (at hardware stores). White powder, follow directions. It's cheap, it works.
 
If you have water spots on your glass, you probably have them on your paint, too. This is a tougher problem. Check out Meguiar's web site. I used their recommendations on my badly stained black 97 and it works great. But, it's a lot of work. For a hun or hun&1/2 you can get a pro to do it. Wash with detergent, use chemical cleaner, polish, wax. Took me about 20 hours in all.
