RE: Knocking-Pinging



Patrick, I've heard it as a soft 'tinking' to louder 'diesel clatter'
under acceleration.  Can be intermittent to steady the more load at low
to mid RPM in 3rd or 4th you put on it.  If you're really not sure, have
someone who knows ride with you.  What octane are you using now?  If you
switch chips, you will need 93 to keep it from knocking (but you'll be
getting better performance  ;-) .
