Jetta Index

Hi All,
I was wondering if on the web anywhere there was an index of the
differences in the Jetta/Vento VR6 between certain years. The American
Market cars are the ones I am interested in, but since the list is
international, so then should be the index. I know the GTI guys have
something similar, as does the Corrado club. What I mean by this are the
differences from year to year. For example what I know is this:

US Spec Jetta VR6s

1994 - Manufactured in Wolfsburg, Germany. Limited numbers imported, and
only available in black or red with black leather or in rare cases clothe.
Two piece BBS Mesh Style Wheels, Driver side lighted vanity mirror,
European spec fenders with pre cut euro side marker holes covered by
plastic covers with Wolfsburg Emblem. Rear Speakers mounted on back doors
instead of upper rear window shelf. Chips are not soldered in apparently.
Rear foglight not wired to trunk. Color Matched, painted license plate
trunk segment and side cladding.

1995 - Made in Puebla Mexico. 1Piece BBS Mesh Style Rim. New colors
available. Rear foglight wired to trunk. US spec front fenders. Matte black
plastic license plate trunk segment and side cladding. Rear deck mounted
rear speakers.

1996 - BBS Bugatti style rims, glove box (mid year), dash mounted door lock
button, larger front disc brakes with VW emblem on caliper (VW emblem
dropped in '97), new grille with VR6 emblem attachable, "Jetta III" emblem
dropped for "Jetta"

1997 - Silver/White Instrument faces, new steering wheel with prominent
center positioned VW emblem, trunk cargo net, BOSE stereo optional

1998 - Black/Silver lettering shifter map, polished exhaust tip, new colors

I am sure I am missing stuff here like lockable gas cap being dropped etc,
but I'll need your help with this. For comparison sake I have a '94 GLX
with clothe interior and winter package. If anyone wants to compare theirs
of a different year with mine we can figure out differences. Second, who
has a webpage and wants to post it.
