Re: help replacing the antenna cable

I need to get the factory connector back that has the proper
connection for the 12V power lead to the Fuba antenna. The shop that
hacked mine up connected about 10 inches of standard antenna cable
with a standard plug to my factory cable. (Interestingly, the jack on
it had VW heat shrink). Further back, they cut the factory cable
short to make room for their extra lead (I would not have enough cable
length available if I were to find the factory plug). They also made
all sorts of cuts to the cable and soldiered theirs onto it.

If you have any suggestions to putting a factory connector back on
(and how to wire it to the power lead), I would love to hear it.

Thanks,
Bryan
