Why is this months C&D cool???? This is the second time that they have run
that stupid ass article on the 5 way comparison between the GLX, Contour SVT,
Integra VTec, and whatever else crappy competition they threw in there. They
had the nads to rate the GLX in 5TH place!!!! Go figure!!! And the only real
flaws that they think they found were a 5-speed that feels like it's floating
in Jell-O????....and a body style that is outdated???!!!!??....and a
low-budget interior??!!?. Am I going crazy?? I sat in every other car they
compared in this article and they all are flat-out cheesy!! I must be going
out of my MIND! The Jetta is the most handsome, solid-feeling, smoothest
engine, feature packed bang-for-the-buck that I have probably ever seen.
These guys must have a serious beef with VW in order to find such BS excuses
for giving it a 5TH place. I hate that stupid C&D mag. Thay need to wake up
and smell the VR6! They need to cater to the true car enthusiast who reads
the mag, instead of Honda or Ford wjo are shoveling them the advertising $$$.
It's not fair and it isn't good business. Shame on you C&D for being complete
idiots. I haven't read that mag since the first time they printed that BS 5
way comparison.
