Re: Cruise Control problem [Was] VR6 oil leaks:[Was] Synth
Driving from Milwaukee to Long Beach for service? WOW! No I haven't
had the problem, but I had a friend that had the intermitant CC
problem, but he sold the car before fixing it. So, I know it isn't
unheard of. Your car is new enough, take it back to the dealer, if it
is intermitant and they can't reproduce it, make sure you get a work
reciept with your complaint on it so it is in the records and if it
totally goes out when the warranty is up, they will have to fix it
free'o'charge. Always cover your bases.

Have you ever had poblems with the cruise control? Sometimes mine works
fine, other times it won't engage at all -- this sympton lasts for hours on
long trips. Any one have an idea on this one? Two different dealers
(Concourse in Milwaukee, WI and Timmons in Long Beach, CA) could not find a
problem. So far, that's the only problem with my '97 in seven months and
14,000 miles.
