Re: Suspension Setup Suggestions

All the suspensions you listed well be excellent, however if you will
be driving on rough roads I would recommend the Bilstein shocks and
the Neuspeed springs or SPAX 30mm springs. As far as a rear Upper
tie bar, it is not needed for the Jetta it already has one from the
factory in a steel support beam that runs between shock towers behind
the rear seats, check it out.

I am looking to replace my factory suspension on my 97 GLX. I have heard
SPAX, Koni, Bilsteins, Neuspeed, H&R, and some others..

Here is what I am looking for in a suspension:

My Enviroment: Lotsa Rain, Slippery Roads, Rough Roads, 80% spent Freeways

I am looking for something that will give me a alot more feeling of
control, and lose the sway and loose front wheels feeling.

I plan on getting Autotech Front & Rear Sway Bar, AutoTech Upper Tie Strut
(Front) Neuspeed (REAR) Upper tie Bar.

Now it's just what kinda of suspension has a good ride and good
performance?
