SUPERCHARGER

i know that i am going to start something with this one; just read in
EC, i know i get mine later than the rest of you, anyway, Advancec
Motorsport Solutions is advertising a VR6 SUPERCHARGER; 100% reliable,
so they claim; increase of 100hp, so they claim;

i only have one concern; a friend of mine back in 84 when both he and i
were modding gti's, got the Autotech supercharger installed on his big
valve headed 1.8liter gti; kept bending valves, he finally took it off
and literally threw it into the corner of the shop;

why would this not happen putting a supercharger on a VR6?

what price do you think they will put on this supercharger;

who is going to race me to be the first in line for one?

could this be the less expensive option to the EIP turbo;could this be
the way to get that extra boost; i like the theory behind supercharging
over turbo!!??

a lot to think about on my 12hr drive while moving to louisville, ky.
