     The car is warranted against rust for 6 years, unlimited milage.  
     That's quite a while, does any aftermarket rustproofing co. offer this 
     type of coverage?  It may not be necessary and just a money making 
     scheme from the dealer,  Perhaps you could have it done by an 
     aftermarket shop after the 6 years are up. That is if it can be done 
     after exposure like you mention.  Just my $0.02.

I know that VW says the cars ae already rustproofed, does anyone have 
any insight in aftermarket rustproofing.  The dealers is reccomending 
"Gladiator Corporation" as a $500 option.
     
Also I wonder if there is any point doing after the cars has been 
driven in winter conditions.
     
     
Anyone have feeling on this?
