Oil Change

Okay folks, a simple one:

I just bought the $17.95 oil filter element yesterday and am writing to ask if
there are any hidden secrets to changing the oil in a 97 GLX.  I would think
it'd be a snap, but with VW, who knows...  Of course, the wonderfully detailed
owner's manual doesn't even tell you how to change the oil.

BTW, the  GLX group is great!  I've had my 97 black GLX for two months and have
had only minor problems (like the airconditioning leaking water into the car).
Gotta love that VR6, though!  Anyone in the St. Louis area, let's hook up.
