Re: ignition problems

I feel everyone's pain!!! Get this...when I picked up my jetta glx about 3
months ago, I only got one key! They seemed to misplace the valet, lighted
key, and my identification tags for my car. Well, since that time I am
still stuck with one key because no one knows where the heck the other
keys are. Well, living in Detroit, that does not make me feel at ease to
know that my keys are out there somewhere. When I called VW, they told me
that they could not do a thing for me and that I was out of luck and I
needed to talk to the dealer. Anyways, since then it has been a vicous
circle.

Getting to the point of the story, I have only one key, cannot get any new
ones, and I have almost broken my key in my ignition on several
occassions! It is not only my ignition. When I use the drivers side locks,
when I turn it, it feels like I am almost going to bust the door locks. I
thought that this was nothing, but I am glad that you brought it up. If
you are taking action, count me in!
