the synchronization is out-of-whack;

here is what you do: unplug the battery and leave it unattached for
about 10 minutes; the system will reset, and viola, back in business;

i am glad that you posted this, it reminds me that i have to do that
myself; my sunroof won't close when i lock the doors; once i reset it
everything goes back to normal
