If your interested, Agla leather makes steering wheel recovering kits
for leather wheels in all kinds of colors.  I understand this replaces
the entire leather covering, not like the Wheelskins wrap, and they will
do it for you if you want, but it's around $150.  They usually have an
ad in EC every month.
