You almost got it:
GLX = Young, fun individual who is more concerned with performance and fun
driving than luxury and looking good in the parking lot.
A4 = Someone who may still enjoy driving, but has lost touch with driving
for the fun of it, and sipps his/her mocachino on the way to a staff
meeting.
In otherwords, VW's marking is right on. If you're young, like to have
fun, and into performance, then a GLX may be right for you. But if you're
image conscious and all that, you may need an A4.
