Re[2]: Oil Changes

I'll add my 2 cents. Although I do take my Passat GLX and Jetta GLX
to a locally owned "lightning lube" place, if I did not have an
excellent relationship with this shop I would take it to the dealer as
It costs about the same. With the local guy, he lets me in the bay to
check out the underside if my car in addition to doing tranny oil
changes for free when I supply the fluid.

     Warren

engine as sophicated and as well designed as a VR6 you should definetly have
a VW dealer work on it. They will check out all the basics for you also,
when a "Lube Shop" will try and get you out in 20-30 minutes. A VW dealer
can give you service that will keep a VR6 in its best running condition. At
leasst this is the experiance I have had with my VW dealer.
