Think, Dan, think. What was Doc Rivers doing when O'Brien exited
stage left? He wasn't doing anything, so if Ainge wanted him, why didn't
he hire him then, rather than go with Carroll? The fact that Ainge
chose Carroll, meant that he had someone else in mind, who was occupied
at the time.
