Re: Not All Bad

I understand what you are saying Steve, but that would mean that guys like
Willie Green shouldn't receive playing time because of their spot in the
draft?

I don't care what spot a player was selected in if they have a skill which
can help your team win. I believe that Hunter has such a skill, a very
important one. Of course there are aspects of his game which need
improvement. But he has shown that the current skill he has is enough to
make a contribution, especially an area of the game where we are so
pathetic.

This begs the question of why did they start to give Hunter any significant
playing time to begin with? Did they anticipate that he would struggle with
picking up on the offensive concepts the coach has drawn up? If so, it's
hilarious. The guy comes in and gives the team a much needed shot in the
arm, then all of a sudden, the coach says he needs more time to learn the
offense? Then why was he inserted into th starting lineup? Did he know the
offense before Walter hired someone to hit him on the knee when he was
coming off the ice?
